This piece, entitled "DREAM TIME", was created by 'Franklin Mint Proprietary Limited of Australia', and issued in 1976 by the Franklin Mint, PA. Both pendant and chain are made of .925 STERLING SILVER . The Butterfly is HAND-Enameled in hues of gold and amber. Pendant is marked "c. FM" on the backside. Sterling Silver chain, Marked "STERLING", measures 15" long. This piece was issued as a "strictly limited edition". Comes with Certificate of Authenticity , dated Sept. 14, 1976 ! Also, includes the original letter "to the Collector", which came w/ the necklace, and describes it's design & origin. This gorgeous piece of artwork/ jewelry comes in its Original Blue Velvet box from the Franklin Mint...which also has the "FM:" logo inside. New -- Never worn! Has been in a locked box (SAFE) all these years...... SO RARE that I found only one -- sold in CANADA via "want ads"-- for OVER $200.00 -- this is the only one I have found to compare! Triangular-shped pendant measures 1" from each of the three points (angles) to the next. Please ask questions prior to bidding. Truly a beautiful and Exceptionally Rare find!
