This limited edition Franklin Mint Solid sterling silver inlaid plate electroplated with 24KT Gold (8 OzT) is the 1976 official Bicentennial Commemorative Plate featuring John Hancock, issued by the Bicentennial Council of the Thirteen Original States; it measures about 8" inches in diameter and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, serial number 1215. Inscription around the plate reads "We mutually pledge our lives, our fortunes, our sacred honor". It rests in a box measuring about 11" x 11" x 2" inches. The box has slight wear on it including a small indent on the back as show in the picture. The plate is in excellent condition showing no signs of discoloration.Good Luck bidding
