We are very pleased and proud to offer, over the coming weeks, prints from an astonishing collection of Duck Stamp art. All pieces to be offered are part of the private collection of Joel Bennett, a champion of wildlife habitat. Mr. Bennett was a serious collector of Duck Stamp art, and a life sponsor of Ducks Unlimited --- w he worked to ensure that he returned more to waterfowl than he took. Mr. Bennett was a former president of the St. Paul Union Stockyards . At various times during his career he also served as President of the American Stockyards Association. He served on the Boards of Northwestern National Bank and Mainstreet Bank, and was a past-president of the Minnesota Association of Commerce and Industry. This auction is for a 1st Issue/1st Print of Alderson Magee's Federal Duck Stamp (RW-43) Design for 1976. The print is signed, Alderson Magee 1976, in the lower right corner. In the lower left corner it reads, "87/3600". T is an artist signed 1976 stamp VG/F Condition. Actual size of print is 10-1/2" x 8". It is matted and framed. The size of the framed piece is 17" x 15-1/2". This item will ship USPS Priority Mail in the US. Weight will be between 4 & 5 pounds when packed. I charge read more
