OFF TO THE POST OFFICE THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY (SOMETIMES SAME DAY!!!) USING USPS PARCEL SELECT (5-9 DAY DELIVERY) Taking into account the rarity and collectible nature of this items, I try to be very critical and detailed in my description: This one is in EXCELLENT SHAPE & displays fantastic! Very cool 8" scale size action figure playset - The Hall of Justice! (SUPERMAN NOT INCLUDED - USED FOR DEMO ONLY) Finished in phenomenal 1970s artwork on the outside - using many of the related disaster scenes view-able on the inside slides of the set (more on that later)! Inside, it folds open for display & closes up for storage of the Super Friends. There are no noticeable rips or tears in the vinyl casing. I may have accidentally missed one but I checked all over, including the typical trouble spots. The same goes for major wrinkles or creases in the cardboard, minimal if any at all. Please view all pics carefully but I will try to point out the flaws I found. Removable HOJ sign on top looks great. It has a couple small wrinkles but no splitting in the vinyl casing with the exception of the bottom of one tab (that inserts in the playset top, out of sight). Overall it displays nice when in place. Plastic casing on front protecting "HOJ" cardboard artwork has no splits along seams that I could find. Front art nice and clean with some minor spotting. There are some pinholes in front that pierce the vinyl and cardboard (as if some child was playing with a thumbtack). They are tough to see and I tried to show them in the last pic. Look for a few on Aquaman's leg/foot and some more on the wave below, they do tend to blend with the art. Back and side art looks fine, overall clean. Bottom of the set has no tears in the plastic. Top of set looks good overall with just a couple of tiny holes (factory made?) in the vinyl, near the two top right hand side metal rivets (see pic). The carrying handle is missing so that's why those two vacant holes are there along with the 5 holes for the marquee HOJ sign. The top snap closure works great. Cool features include the "Translocation Chamber", "Disaster window/computer screen" with 6 different scenes (see compilation pic #9) & "dial-a-disaster" villain locator wheel with corresponding number/letter graph map on left side flap. Wheel has 6 villains; Joker, Catwoman, Penguin, Riddler, Lex Luthor & Mr Mxyztplk. Chamber works by putting your hero inside and closing door with top lever and then sliding chamber with the bottom lever. He (or she) is transported to the disaster scene of your choice (see compilation pics #8,9). Clear back window allows light to help see the hero at the scene. Gray lever nearby opens/closes the window/computer screen cover revealing your choice of the 6 disaster scenes. The black lever under the scene window is not the greatest design (originally never worked perfect according to Mego Museum website) but this one works very well! When you slide the lever to change scenes it will pull the next scene into the viewing window. Slide it back to push the scene back out of the window and then pull the next scene forward. Doesn't work perfect every time but with a gentle nudge forward to the inside plastic scene window, the scenes are easily back on track. It's best to look inside with a flashlight to understand how it works. Since the scenes are plastic so they have some surface scratching, minor sticker peel etc...they are not crystal clear. Flaws on the inside are minimal (all should be visible in pics and we are being VERY PICKY): Above the "dial-a-disaster" villain locator wheel there is a small section of missing artwork. I have left it as is, but you may try to fix it with your markers! Overall, this set is in really nice shape inside. Typically there are t ears in cardboard walls where the corners meet and near the "Translocation Chamber" door but this one has survived very well and avoided those issues!
