1976 Miley Made Telephone Glass Bell Insulator Display

This is a Miley Made Hand Crafted Original Telephone Glass Bell Insulator Display from Marion, OH. This bell insulator was hand picked from actual use to be "as nearly perfect as possible" with no chips or cracks in order to be placed on this display as explained in the booklet. The wood base is 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" and it is about 6" tall. The insulator is mounted to a swinging pendulum and the casting arms have "American Bicentennial 1776-1976" with a picture of George Washington on one end and "A.G. Bell The Telephone 1876" with a picture of Alexander Graham Bell on the other. It is in perfect condition, has the original Miley Made tag on the bottom, and has a booklet entitled "The Telephone Insulator - What Were They?" as well as the original GTE tag, both giving details of the insulator and its history.
