1976-S Roll 20 KENNEDY PROOF DCAM Half Dollars SPECIAL BICENTENNIAL PROOF COINS WITH 1776-1976 DATES 1776-1976 Bicentenial "S" Issue KENNEDY Halves This is an original proof roll of 1976-S Kennedy Halves, each coin carefully removed from proof sets. The 1976 Kennedy half was unique in that it commemorated the 200th Anniversary, Bicentennial, of the United States of America as the dates on the obverse reflect, 1776-1976. The reverse has the image of Independence Hall. These appear to be very nice proofs, stored for years in an old Harris round tube. I believe you will be very pleased at the quality of these cameos.Metal content: Outer layers - 75% Copper, 25% Nickel Center - 100% Copper Weight: ±175 grains (±11.3 grams) Edge: Reeded Mintmark: "S" (for San Francisco, CA) centered above the date (Theses are not the 40% silver halves, which were only issued in the Silver Bicentennial 3-Coin Proof Set.
