Well.. I thought this day would never come, but it's time to sell this lovely guitar. I bought it for £699 in 1994, and knew it was special when the guy in the guitar shop asked me to remove my belt before playing it! It's a gorgeous guitar, and sounds amazing – it's got that nice fat warm sound that only a Gibson can make. To tell you about all the 'interesting' parts about the guitar: it has got some slight dings on it – i've tried to show them in the pictures. There's a couple on the front of the body, and around the edges, and one behind the neck near the headstock. The guitar also has some checking, where there are slight cracks in the guitar when you look really closely. My camera wasn't able to get in close enough to show these, but there are some on the front, around the body and neck. The knobs have been replaced as unfortunately one broke while being taken off (which I still have). I replaced the mediocre pickups that the guitar came with (with Gibson Burstbuckers), and the pots needed replacing, which a friend who is a guitarmaker did. The tuners are Grover (which work beautifully) so I think have changed, and the pickup covers have been replaced as well (the bridge one has a small crack in it).
