This 1977 Hostess Baseball Complete Panel Set of 150 cards is a great set for any baseball fan to enjoy. The fifty panels in this set each consist of three cards and most are cut on or outside the dotted lines. A few of the panels were cut slightly inside the dotted lines. Two of the cards most affected by this are also scuffed. They are card numbers 43 and 44 (Schmidt and Winfield). I do not know exactly how panel sets are graded, but this one has been kept in the same condition as the cards were on the original boxes. That means t are a few cards with scratches and a few with light stains. This set is not as nice as some of the others I put on EBAY today, while many of the panels are nr-mt, some are not. Overall I believe this to be a mostly ex-mt panel set. I am not an expert, so please examine the pictures yourself and email me if you need a close up of any single card. Backs of the cards contain statistical and brief biographical information. Many Hall of Fame and star players are included in this set, for all the names please see the pictures provided. Some of the great stars include: Jim Palmer, Joe Morgan, Reggie Jackson, Carl Yaztremski, Thurman Munson, Johnny Bench, Tom Seaver, Pete Rose, Rod Carew, Dwight Evans (SP), Jim Rice (SP), Greg Luzinski (SP), Willie Stargell (SP), Bob Mercer (SP), Lou Brock (SP), Robin Yount (SP), Steve Garvey(SP), George Brett (SP), Bob Watson (SP), Gary Carter, Mike Schmidt, Dave Winfield, Mark Fidrych, Ken Griffey, Dave Kingman, Ted Simmons, Don Sutton, Gaylord Perry, Jim Hunter, Nolan Ryan, Dave Concepcion, Carlton Fisk, Dennis Eckersley, Phil Niekro (SP), Keith Hernandez, Graig Nettles, Steve Carlton, Bill Madlock, Rich Gossage and Rollie Fingers. Set will be boxed, bubblewraped and sent with panels inside of plastic sheets. I am listing all five (1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979) of the Hostess sets on ebay today (10-30-07). A discount will be given to anyone who buys all five sets at the Buy it Now Price. Shipping costs can be combined on any of my items, I always try to find the least expensive way to ship items, but do require insurance be purchased for items like this one that I cannot replace.
