Welcome to C&C Trains and Collectibles I am pleased to offer for bid and sale this rare collection of ALL 28 Pro Sports Marketing ACTION TEAM MATE NFL Complete Series Collection. Please see first 4 photos to view all 28 action figures. Here is your once in a life-time chance to acquire all 28 AFC and NFC Team action figures in this limited production collectible series. Available only from Sears, JC Penny and Montgomery Ward Christmas Toy Catalogs during the late 1970s insures this collection, as an officially licensed NFL product, to be an excellent toy action figure investment. May-be one of the best for the serious collector. Most of the items have been slightly used, but there are 8 figures in the original boxes which appear to be unused. Those 8 items are Steelers, Broncos, Cowboys, St. Louis Cards, NY Football Giants, NY Jets, Bengals and Tampa Bay Bucs. I did cut the tape on the Bucs Package, I believe, to see what was inside. The figures in the OBs and 10 other original packets are complete, with display stands, numbers and playbooks and instructions, 7 of the action figures will require re-banding (not too difficult). ALL parts are present for all Action Figures. Those figures needing re-banding are Colts, Falcons, Bears, Chargers, Lions, Steelers (NIB just to show that the rubber bands are dry-rotted after 35 years) and Bengals. All figures are 35 years old and look to be in good condition, all display bright colors, only 2 have yellowed legs. Please see all enlarged photos above!! 10 Stands, Numbers, Playbooks, and "ORIGINAL DIRECTIONS", PLUS the 8 in the original boxes are complete with all items as described on the OBs. 9 stands, 8 poles and 1 set of numbers are loose. From my inventory and account of the Collection, and as far as I can figure from not opening the original 8 boxes, it appears there are 1 stand, 5 balls, 2 poles and 8 number sets missing from the Collection, but the number sets may have been inserted into the 10 original parts packets which are complete. I did not inspect all 10 packets for duplicate number sets in the packets for the other teams. Also, two, possibly 3, of the figures have a slightly damaged face mask, but nothing a drop of super glue will not cure!! Remember, the set is 35 years old, and stuff ages, just like anything else, but overall, the Set is re-storeable to a pretty high grade! The rubber bands in the Washington Redskin action figure were totally dry-rotted (to be expected after 34 years), and this figure was in 4 pieces (2 legs, torso and head) so being a Washington Redskin Fan, I chose that particular figure to re-band. It took me 30 minutes, and requires doll repair tools, or a complete fine tool set and large and small paper clips which you can shape to hook the bands as required. Please see Photo Number 11 for the final result of my repair. Pretty Cool ActionFigure! Also see Photo 12 for the Playbook, which you never see here on ebay. You get plenty of Playbooks with this collection, by my count 18 of them, plus the original instructions too.
