Here is a UBER hard to find old school BMX race bike... 1977 Redline MX-II which happens to be one of the lowest serial numbers known of at this time. Original redline double gooseneck bar clamp!! (about $300 alone and rare!) It also sports a Redline prototype seat post clamp that never made it to production. (only 3 of these I know of) At some point someone updated some of the 1977 era items items. The cranks, tuff wheels and brakes are newer than 1977 and must have been someones attempt at updating thier aging bike back in the day. The original nickle finish is is great shape. It has some age showing, but everything can be cleaned off. This would be a perfect bike to restore back to original, especially with this uber low serial number. Most of the old school websites give feedback that the first mx-ii's started with serial numbers somewhere around 10,XXX, this number is WAY under that, the serial number falls into the range of most know squareback's, almost leaving one to wonder if it might be an early proto type mx-ii like the seat post clamp.
