Up for sale is a beautiful 1977 Franklin Library copy of "THE SUN ALSO RISES" by Ernest Hemingway. This is The Franklin Library "The 100 Greatest Masterpieces Of American Literature" Edition and is bound in 100% genuine leather with raised bands along the spine. Gold Gilding to the boards and along the spine as well as gilded page ends. A beautiful copy of this classic that would look great on any book shelf. I do have several other titles up for sale by the Franklin Library right now as well if you are interested in other titles. The quintessential novel of the Lost Generation, The Sun Also Rises is one of Ernest Hemingway's masterpieces and a classic example of his spare but powerful writing style. A poignant look at the disillusionment and angst of the post-World War I generation, the novel introduces two of Hemingway's most unforgettable characters: Jake Barnes and Lady Brett Ashley.
