PFE ALBEE PRESIDENTS CLUB AWARD That's right -- this is the VERY FIRST year the Mrs. PFE Albee Presidents Club Award was created. The Mrs. PFE Albee figurines are awarded to representatives based on sales achievement. This is one of Avon's highest honors and was designed exclusively for Avon. The hand-painted porcelain bisque figurine is a tribute symbolizing the achievements of Avon's first representative, the honorary "Mother of the California Perfume Company", Mrs. Persus Foster Earnes Albee, for carrying on a tradition of excellence begun with the California Perfume Company. ALBEE AWARD's are Avons' highest honors given to sales representatives based on sales achievement. The Avon awards for sales achievement begins with the RARE and highly priced 1973 porcelain doll made by Goebel, a limited edition of 6500, hand numbered, on the bottom each reads: This statuette of the 'original Avon Lady' has been produced and handpainted exclusively for Avon by W. Goebel, the maker of the world famous "Hummel"-Figurines. Bavaria W. Germany. AVON Then in 1976 Avon had the Spanish company Bondia S A, make the FIRST 'AVON LADY PORCELAIN FIGURINE' (she is not, however, referred to as Mrs. PFE Albee). "Awarded Exclusively to Avon President's Club Members for Outstanding Sales Achivement in Avon's 90th Anniversary Celebration". To this date I have never seen a 1977 Porcelain dated Award (or anything dated 1974 or 1975) . Avon then created the cherished official series of DATED full size awards and matching miniatures (numbered in the boxes), which are then formally presented during the year of sales achievement (typically in the Spring), I have copied verbatim the messages stamped at the bottom of the awards. #1 1978 Mrs. P.F.E.
