A 29 year old Enesco/Garfield cookie jar! This was only for display and the original foil tags are still intact. The jar measures 5.5" high without the lid and about 9" high with. Measures 6" across the base. The bottom is stamped, GARFIELD, C in a circle, 1978 United Feature Syndicate,Inc. Licensee Enesco With the original Enesco gold and black foil tag underneath, The underside of the lid is marked the same way. The jar has no chips or cracks, the lid has 2 small chips on Garfields left ear and an even smaller one on the left. The lid also has a small chip under the rim, not visible when its on the jar and and a small one on the back towards Garfields tail. Please see the pictures. These really need to be pointed out to notice them and still displays beautifully! I have taken the pictures close up. The base looks like creme filled cookies (to me anyway) and Garfield is so cute perched on top waiting to pounce on one! This is a no reserve auction! Happy Bidding! Check out my other items !
