� Description is a rare original OCTOBER 1978 SCHWINN FAIR LADY STINGRAY 20" BICYCLE! (LP Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in storage since the late 1970s and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!
*The bike is in the original and very appealing YELLOW and maroon 2-tone factory painted color. I WAS TOLD this is a ONE YEAR ONLY color combo and is nearly impossible to find these days! It has tan Schwinn grips and a tan STINGRAY seat. It is a great combo. If you are an enthusiast of these bikes and want something different DONT miss this bike!
It has the original chrome Schwinn S7 front and rear chrome rims. Both front and rear tires hold air. Both tires are original Schwinn STINGRAY tires and I believe are original for the bike. The front is a Schwinn Westwind tire. The rear is a Schwinn GRIPPER SLICK tire!WOW! I dont know w you would find another like it! It is awesome! Though it is not flawless, I think the paint is really good for a 30+ year old bicycle! The chrome is shiney but not perfect show quality. You can read the chainguard lettering really well unlike most of them. The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. The seat is original but is ripped on top.
*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. This awesome ride starts low with ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE so bid early and don't miss out! This will sell to the high bidder! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. The chrome is shiney but would need to be redone for show. The paint is original but has typical wear of a used bicycle. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
