The First Two (2) Budweiser Holiday Steins You are looking at the first two steins in the ongoing Budweiser Holiday issue series. Medium brown finish on both. These two beautiful steins are the start of a full set of twenty-eight Bud Holiday issues. Both are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks at all! Beautiful dark brown color is unique and hard to find in these early steins. The 1980 Budweiser Champion Clydesdales, CS19, is the first stein in Anheuser-Busch's long running Holiday Series. The relief design shows an eight-horse hitch traveling over a grassy path. The rich browns of the horses are further accentuated by the antique brown background and complemented by the red accent line at rim. Made by Ceramarte in Brazil. The 1981 Budweiser Holiday Stein is the 2nd in the Budweiser Holiday series from Anheuser Busch. The CS-50 stein is the hardest to find to add to a collection. Budweiser’s Champion Clydesdales team is shown against a snowy birch tree forest. This stein has also been referred to as “Snowy Woodland” or “Birch Tree”. Made by Ceramarte in Brazil. As with most early Anheuser-Busch and other Ceramarte manufactured steins, they were all handmade and hand painted. It is not unusual for the same style stein to have slightly different finishes.
