Head badge number is 2030, I believe 203rd day of 1980) mens Schwinn LETOUR 10-speed road bike with 27" wheels. It is in the original and very appealing SILVER MIST colored factory paint with red accents. (a cool color that you dont see ofteN0 With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!*This bike has a cool mens butted tubing frame, chrome tip forks, aluminum 3-piece cranks, center pull brakes, Christophe pedals, aluminum neck, Sakae Randoneer Road Champion racing style handlebars, Avocet saddle/seat and more! Would look nicer with fresh handlebars tape!*The tires are 27x1 1/4". They are old vintage tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome rims front and rear.*The bike is an original TEN SPEED and the gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable as well. (The bike has been in long term storage and will need adjustment or possible cable replacement)*DIMENSIONS The standover height is approx 33". The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 33". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 23 1/4". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 1/2". The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok for its age! The paint looks ok for a 35+ year old bike! (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) With a little basic tlc you will have an awesome bike you can enjoy for a long time! People love these vintage Schwinn road bikes!
