Bought in 1980. Never used, carried or sharpened. Comes in original green plastic pouch. Victorinox no. 0.8780.06. Size: 4-1/4" (108 mm) The Safari series knives were made for heavy duty use. Compared to other Swiss Army knives, each tool is longer because of the length of the knife, and the saw and blade are twice as thick. It is the seller's information that the only difference between this knife and the one issued to the West German Army is that the Army version has the German Eagle on the handle instead of the name plate. Features : olive drab checkered cellulose handle with lanyard hole and name plate area, the deeply checkered handle provides a non-slip grip, large blade, all-purpose saw with bottle opener and screwdriver, punch with reamer, corkscrew. Condition: T are some faint scratches on blade and saw. Tang stamp on large blade: "Victorinox Switzerland Stainless Rostfrei".
