You are bidding on a RARE pair of DeLorean Skis .They are Downhill, Open-Tip, Split-Tail Racing Skis from the early to mid 1980's. The top is a layer of Stainless Steel with the DMC Logo. They have Tyrolia 360R Racing Bindings on them - which were only made in the early 1980's. At the time, these were the most AWESOME skis that anyone could buy and these were ALL CUSTOM. DeLorean Motor Company was derived from a combination of Companies. Part of Morton-Thiokol and Logan Machine Company were purchased by John DeLorean in 1978. They sold snow groomers and other equipment all over the World and that is what lead the formation of the DeLorean automotive manufacturing business in the 1980's. You can Google all the info on that if you are so inclined. These skis were Custom made and provided to a Manager at Boyne USA because they bought about 15 groomers for their US operations (which are still in use today). They were Used and need a good cleaning - but they have been sitting indoors in an office at Boyne USA for about 25 years or so.They are a great piece of DeLorean Memorabilia and they would match your Stainless Steel DeLorean car. They would look especially nice on a factory ski rack for display purposes. Buy a piece of history!Get them while you can - you may never see another set of these.Happy Bidding.Thank You.
