A fine piece of pewter sculpture made by acclaimed sculptor and artist Jim Ponter , whose works include sculptures, paintings, illustrations, coins, just to name a few. His works are now in the official collection of The Western Heritage Museum. Incredibly realistic and detailed, and makes an impressive display.
The piece has a lot of very fine detail and I hope my photos do it justice. What a great collectible for any western or history fan. The official issue piece was manufactured by the Franklin Mint. It is a first of a numbered run and limited edition and is number 1149/4500. This detailed work of art stands approx. 10” tall, 7” wide and 4” deep. It weighs 6lbs. 6 oz, and has been kept in a glass case since purchased new by a family member. These are rare and hard to find in this condition.
