This is the Rare "Casa De Moneda De Mexico, Proof 1982-1983 Coinage Of Mexico" Set # 0448. A rare Eight Piece Legal Tender Proof Set. The accompanied Certificate of Authenticity States that there are only 1000 of these sets minted. It contains "The 1983 Proof 1 Onza Libertad" silver one ounce proof coin listed in the books as a total mintage of 998. You get the cardboard box marked CASA DE MONEDA DE MEXICO, The hard black and gold hinged presentation box, The Certificate of Authenticity numbered 0448, a card explaining about the history of the mint and the sets as well as a complete description of the denomination, diameter, weight, and composition of each of the eight coins in the set, and finally, of course, the set itself, which is in perfect condition without damage. The coins are still sealed in the original air tight packaging. There is a single 1983 Proof 1 onza Libertad in the completed section of eBay Item # 140513345636, so who knows how many of these sets remain intact.
