You are bidding on a 1982 Bally Eight Ball Deluxe Limited Edition Pinball Machine. This was one of the first pinball machines to “talk” and will coax you to play with the famous line "Stop Talkin' and Start Chalkin'". It will also give you hints throughout the game. The play is fast and there are many targets and goals to achieve. This is a highly sought after game in the pinball community and the resale value is high. Re-listing discount for 3 days only, down $400 from first listing, will re-list at $1,700 until it sells thereafter. This is a great opportunity for you to own a classic pinball at a rock-bottom price; think of it as an investment, you can sell this machine at a higher price later (remember it is a collectible that will almost certainly go up in price) while enjoying the game in the meantime. Condition of the 1982 Bally Eight Ball Deluxe Limited Edition Pinball Machine: Status: Fully operational and functional Cabinet: Great (8 out of 10) condition with some scratches, blemishes, and dents. Backbox: Great (7 out of 10) condition with some scratches, blemishes, and dents. Playfield: Excellent (9 out of 10) condition with only minor wear, plastics and playfield objects are intact Audio: Functioning - loud and clear Replay: The coin mechanism works but a pinball technician set the replay to a very low score Known Issues: Some bulbs need replacing. The drop targets have worn paint/stamps especially at the top of the targets. The coin door is ajar and very hard to close and even harder to open once you close it (moral of the story is either fix the door or leave it partially ajar). There is a cracked playfield plastic where the 2x-5x targets are located (if you feel the need, you can buy an entire set of plastics for $125). The display is from a Centaur II (Not Paragon - Sorry) pinball machine but it is functionally and aesthetically equivalent/interchangeable with the stock EBD display. I tried to do a good job with the pictures so you can judge for yourself the outward condition. I will also include all the associated paperwork and manuals.
