198 3 Mk1 Sierra 2.0 Ghia Absolu tly stunning and very scar ce no w. This example has clearly led a pamperd life since new, th ere are 2 previous owners, the first was until 23rd august 2012, he sadly died and his son registerd it in his name while the estate was sorted out. In the 31 years since the car was made it has been garaged, and had very little use with only 2 8,000 miles since new. It is practica lly a new car, it smells like new inside, never smoked in , or had pets or even dirty fee t on the carpets! the interior may as well just have come from the factory and is completely unmarked or faded, the dash is totally un cracked all the plush Ghia extras Central locking, Electric windows, Electric and heated mirrors, sunroof, Plush Ghia seats a nd carpet, wood inserts, front foglights, original 4 speaker cassette radio with electric ari al that works and sounds great. a digital dash packed with ice warning lights door ajar, bulb failure, brakepad wear sensors etc looks very very 80s and i love it! Origi nal ford tool kit in the boot as n ew and unused, firstaid kit in the parcel shelf stora ge box and both dealer number plates in mint condition. The engine and gearbox are mint, very smooth and very qu iet and starts easy with no rattles. The bodywork and underside are again like the rest of the car in superb condition, wi th all its factory paint and trim that has a mirror reflection bea utifully smooth to the touc h with no swirl marks on the Laquer, NO rust or scratches and has never been welded , its factory fresh under the bonnet . I challenge anyone to find another like this! now with the downsides, the front drivers wing h as some discolouring to the laquer but is smooth and not peeling, the rear bumper chrome insert is slightly discoloured, and the rear brake shoes are low but i have brandnew ones supplied with the car. The car drives faultless, and is very tight comfy rattle and squeek free!! This car is very near concourse, and is one of the first Sierras ever made if the reserve isnt met i will put it away an d hang onto it, these are very rare the value is rising and are becomming just as collactable as the ever popular dappa fashionable cortina it replaced. The winning bidder must make contact within 12 hours of auction en d, and £100 deposit req through paypal as a gesture of complet ing the sale. Due to the number of messages ive had about the car i thought i should clarify a few points! This car has not been restored or repainted it has not been round the clock, it has no filler, it is all original, i have no buy it now price as i want the auction to run its course, If it doesnt meet the very very reasonable reserve i will not be offering it for sale again i will put it away and keep it! bear in mind how rare these are now, its got the fantastic 2.0 Pinto engine that has hardly run in!! if you want to view it you are very welcome as the pictures dont do it justice!, this is a great investment, you wont loose money on this car as it like so many fords of its age are rising in price fast! the reserve price is not high and is priced lower than the other Mk1 Sierras on ebay ie the Blue 1.6 emax model at £3250 and the lilac D reg LX at £2995, my reserve is much lower The reserve is set at £2000.
