We are delighted to offer this very rare 1982 era vintage unopened collectable 1.75 liter glass decanter of Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Whiskey at no reserve. The glass decanter possesses its original "Tribute To Tennessee" booklet which reads "The bottle you hold, The Tribute To Tennessee, was commissioned in memory of Mr. Jack Daniel's undying affection for the state and the people of Tennessee. It's stately elegance makes it, we feel, a fitting symbol of Tennessee's traditional hospitality."
The bottle exhibits an inscribed (engraved into the glass decanter)) front which reads "Jack Daniel's Old No. 7". On the reverse side of the decanter, we find a gold label inscribed as follows: "This special bottle was created as Jack Daniel's Tribute to the state of Tennessee." Also, it displays "Bottling No. 6" and the initials "HN -Taster" as well as "JN - Master Taster." And finally, the decanter "Stopper" has been "parafined" (waxed) at the seal (and over the affixed and secure Tax Band) as advised in the certification letter (I've displayed the certification letter from the "1985 Inaugural Decanter" that was sold this past week for the sole purpose of explaining why the seal needed to be waxed) in order to prevent the cork from drying out. Also, two kind fellow ebay community members notified me that this specific "Tribute" decanter was produced in 1982. By the way, the last end page of the booklet (which was only a cover page with no info) is missing although not affecting the binding of the booklet itself. Dimensions are 12.5 inches in height by 6 inches in width with no chips or damage to the decanter. This 1.75 ml container is sealed and is in outstanding condition with tax band intact. A very rare and sought after collectable for the connoisseur or discerning collector. The label states as follows: Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey Tribute To Tennessee Contents: 1.75 Liter Please Note: Check my other "Store listings" as I am offering a large collection of rare vintage whiskey "Spirit's" collectable containers from a physicians estate. IMPORTANT: eBAY'S ALCOHOL POLICY IS STATED VERBATIM BELOW AS REQUIRED. Collectible Containers We will permit sales of unopened collectible containers that still contain alcohol as long as each of the following conditions are met and stated verbatim in the listing: The value of the item is in the collectible container, not its contents. (Bottles of wine are not permitted, as their value is generally based on the wine in the bottle rather than the bottle itself.) The container has not been opened and any incidental contents are not intended for consumption. The item is not available at any retail outlet, and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container. The seller will take all appropriate steps to ensure that the buyer is of lawful age in the buyer and seller's jurisdiction (generally 21 years of age). Buyers and sellers both ensure that the sale complies with all applicable laws and shipping regulations. Alcohol-Related Collectibles eBay permits the sale of alcohol-related collectibles, including alcohol-related memorabilia, packaging and containers such as bottles, decanters or limited edition cans (provided you comply with the above collectible container sale guidelines). Please email for shipping quote. Important: Zero Feedback Bidders Must Email Prior to Bidding For Account Verification Purposes. Payment Must Be Received Within 5 Days of End of Auction. Feedback returned upon receipt.
