This auction is for the Mattel 1982 BARBIE #5336 Never Removed From Box--MINT in Box! This unique Barbie is basically a Standard Barbie doll sold only in Canada. She is simply called "Barbie" on her box front, which features both English and French writing. Her box back features a charming illustration of this doll and is labeled Mattel Canada, Inc., Toronto. This doll was taken straight from a Mattel shipping carton so her box does NOT have the typical shelf wear and damage found on dolls that have remained on store shelves for months or years (no shipping carton is included with this doll). I see no damage to the doll's box at all--not even a window ding! This doll uses the lovely SuperStar Barbie face with pale skin and silky GOLDEN blonde shoulder-length hair (covered by Mattel's hair plastic), blue eyes and pink lips--so lovely! Her fashion resembles the design of the vintage 1965 American Girl Barbie; it is a one-piece swimwuit with shimmery teal blue bottom, a pink waistband, and a white top featuring vertical blue stripes.
