This is a Legal Tender 1982 1/4 Troy Ounce Gold Bullion Coin issued by the Government of the Peoples Republic of China. Minted in a high quality Proof-like BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition at the Shenzhen Guobao Mint, this coin contains 1/4 Troy Ounce of .999 Fine Gold. It is part of Chinas yearly Gold Bullion coins issue commemorating the Panda Bears. The 1982 coin shows a newly designed Panda Bear in a Bamboo setting on the reverse side and the Temple of Heaven on the obverse side. The coin measurers 22 mm in diameter and is shipped in the original mint issued sealed flexible clear plastic with mint marking.
