This model was made for one year only and is Schwinn's attempt at their first MTB! It's much more of a 26" BMX cruiser. Essentially it is a lot like a King Sting minus the Team Schwinn cranks, stem and bars. For the purists I do have and will include the original one piece ashtabula crankset and the original Brooks saddle. It is the correct saddle, not the cheap riveted pleather one. The saddle on it now is the Avocet touring which was on the King Sting. I also added a Tru Vativ BB adapter and period correct Sugino BB which was just cleaned and greased. Also a period correct SR cranks and rings. The rims are very nice original blue anodized Ukai with blue ACS high flange hubs. Blue anodized Dia compe levers and blue anodized Weinmann brakes. It comes with all the original stuff minus the grips which were replaced. The chrome bar plugs are there though. Overall the bike is in nice shape, The paint is nice minus some significant paint wear from chain slap on the chainstay. The decals show wear. Ride it or restore it. This bike is a strong survivor and very restorable. There are not many of these around. This bike is a blast to ride! The lowest gear is 38 on the back and 40 up front! It goes anywhere. What's funny is that in high gear it has no problem keeping up with road bikes. 52 front 13 rear! You'll have fun with it! My local bike read more
