1982 World's Fair Knoxville, TN Limited Edition Commemorative Knife in Case This is number 3617 out of 5000 made. Parker Cut. Co. Unfolded knife measures 8 3/4 inches long. The message that came with this knife says: "WORLD'S FAIR COMMEMORATIVE KNIFE This fine benchmade knife is one of a limited Edition of 5,000 made to Commemorate the 1982 Knoxville, TN World's Fair, and is sanctioned by the World's Fair committee. The handles are genuine smoothbone, bolsters are nickle silver and liners are brass. The blade of this knife is Rockwell hardened to 57 on the Rockwell scale and the steel is high rust resistant 440C. This knife is made to do any job that a knife was intended to do and is an evolution of cutting tools that have been made for over 1,000 years. Over 100 hand operations are used in making this fine knife and if treated properly, will ably serve your grandson. Eagle Brand knives are guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects."
