1983 P Brilliant Uncirculated Washington Quarter

Material: Copper-Nickel Clad Copper

You are looking at a Washington Quarter, originally issued in commemoration of George Washington's birth. Prior to 1965 these quarters were made of silver. Modernly the common issues are made of layers of a copper-nickel alloy sandwiching a core of solid copper. Special collector issues dated 1976 and 1992-now are made of silver. Starting in 1968 the mintmark can be found on the front, just to the right of Washington's neck. Prior to that it was located on the reverse below the wreath.

Coin Grading

As coin grading is subjective, you will find that the coins we are selling are conservatively graded not with the intention of achieving 100% accuracy, but with the intention of giving the buyer a general idea of the condition of the coin. The photographs provided for the coin you are viewing are the actual photos of the coin for sale. So please be sure to inspect the photographs for yourself before deciding to buy this coin.

How We Ship Your Coins

When you purchase individual coins from Dave's Collectable Coins they are carefully packaged in individual 2" by 2" non-plasticized coin flips (the kind that will not harm the coin even if stored over a long period of time). The information regarding what type of coin it is, what method of manufacture, the grade, etc. is all included on a label on the flip.

All of your coins are then wrapped in a piece of bubble wrap (or multiple pieces, if you order many coins) and shipped inside a cushioned bubble mailer.

An invoice is enclosed and the whole package is then addressed and sent First Class Mail through the US Post Office. For larger orders, larger mailers and more packing materials are used as needed. If the order comes to $200 or more, signature confirmation is used to help ensure the package is not lost. If you place such an order and do not wish to sign for your package, send us an email so alternate arrangements can be made.

This system has been tested and we find it to be very safe for coins. However if your coins do suffer any mishap during shipment, please send us an email right away so we can straighten it out.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

As always with Dave's Collectable Coins your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. This means that if you are unhappy with your item for any reason you may return it for a full money back refund.
