Steinbach Nutcracker + German Made Nutcracker 2-Fer 12 " Steinbach Shephard Nutcracker with original hang tag and West Germany Steinbach bottom label. (1986 purchase info marked by owner on bottom). The shephard has a wooly coat trimmed in suede fringe with a suede daisy on his hat and tiny lamb at his feet. Over his shoulder is a small bag with wooden bottle and dried flowers and held firmly in his hand is his shephard's staff. He is in very good condition with no flaws that I can detect. He has been lovingly displayed during the Holidays, then carefully wrapped and stored in a temperature controlled closet until the next season. His box has been separated from him but I will carefully wrap and box him in a storage box. The German Made Woodsman Nutcracker measures10". He is marked on the bottom with original mark in German but I can no longer make it out. In addition he has the purchase info written by owner and 1983 date. His hair and beard are original rabbit fur. He carries a walking stick, an axe, and a wooden jar on his back. He is in very good condition for his age but does have a few areas where his paint is worn such as his nose and hands. He has been lovingly displayed at Holiday time and carefully stored until the next season. He does not have his original box, but I will carefully wrap and box him for storage and shipping.
