Up for auction is a 1984 Case XX Medium Stockman Knife. This knife is in unused condition, however there are scratches on the blades from opening/closing. There are no cracks or chips in the stag handles.This knife features Second Cut Genuine Deer Stag handles, High Polished Stainless Steel "Improved/New Grind" Blades, and Nickel Silver Bolsters. Pattern Number 5318. Knife is made in the USA.If you are unaware of the term "Improved Grind" or "New Grind" Blade, examine the pictures of the blades, especially around the tang stamp. Instead of a straight grind on the tang, there is an arched grind. Case only done this on knives for 3 years - 1983, 1984, and 1985, making these a little more desirable. I've also noticed they've done this with their recent Carrhart Series Knives.This knife is being offered at no reserve starting at 99 cents. Thanks for looking and Good Luck.
