1984 Estados Unidos Mexicanos ONE ONZA de Plata - 1 Troy Ounce of Silver .999 Ley Diameter: 36 mmComposition: .999 Silver Edge: Reeded Thickness: 3 mm Denomination: One Onza Weight: 31.103 grams 1 Troy Ounce of pure silver Mintage: 1,014,000 Die Axis ^ This a 1984 Estados Unidos Mexicanos Silver Bullion One Onza Libertad Coin. The coin has the mint mark of the Mexico City Mint, Casa de Moneda de Mexico. The reverse is the Mexican National Seal featuring the Eagle with a Snake in its beak while standing on a cactus plant. The legend has the works: Estados Unidos Mexicanos above and wreath underneath. The obverse is the Independence Angel, monument for the Mexican people, symbol of Mexico City. The Mexican volcanoes: Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl are in the background and memorialize the legend of 2 lovers from who they were named. The date, denomination and ley is above. This is the third of the series. The Coin that is pictured is the coin that you will recieve. It is beautiful, but I am not a grader, so let the pictures do the talking.
