Pepsi Cola Girl" (1st printing) Circa 1900 Artist W.H. McElree, collector plate. This is a 7 inch collector plate dated 1984, The painting on this limited edition plate was originally purchased for the purpose of advertising Pepsi Cola, but for reasons unknown was never used for the purpose intended. From existing data, we can only speculate that this was because Caleb Bradham, then president of Pepsi Cola, the company he had formed to sell his new soft drink, had chosen to hang the painting in his home located in New Bern North Carolina. it remained until a few years ago when it was returned to the Pepsi Cola museum in New Bern. This little plate is in mint condition with all gold trim intact and comes from a non-smoking home. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!!
