Here is a Vintage 1985 Jax Jack in the Box "Wizard", holding a small wand in his hand. He is approximately 12" tall when in up right position out of the box. He was handcrafted in Maine. They used exquisite workmanship, very careful hand drawn features on his face, which can be cleaned with an eraser. His beard is made out a soft yarn. The box is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2", and is finished in Danish oil and wax, and can be cleaned with furniture polish. Underneath is signed Jax, and says not suitable for unsupervised children. I do have a small little folded paper that comes with him that has his name, and where he comes from and care to him that I will put into the Jax box. It do not really see any areas that I need to point out, and he has no smells or odors. He has been stored away in a plastic container my husband Aunts attic on the east coast for sometime, but at one time years ago she did have him displayed in her china cabinet.
