Original 1985 VOLTRON Lion Force action figure. Made in Japan. This version was released in 1985 to compliment the TV series of the same name after its debut in America. "Lion Force" was the first version of VOLTRON, eventually becoming "Vehicle Force" and finally "Gladiator Force" VOLTRON in the following years. I'm the original owner, and I still think it's the coolest toy ever invented. I actually just had a blast putting it together and making sure it worked correctly lol..All 5 Lions are mechanically perfect. The Green and Red Lion missle launchers shoot correctly and the springs are like new. All moving parts and connections work correctly. All "joints" and pivot points work great and are still tight. All wings and tails (and all the things that are usually missing on these) are in the right places and function correctly. Nothing has been re-glued or repaired. One of the Yellow Lion's "ears" has popped off (see pics) but the hinge remains intact. It can be easily repaired but I figured I'd leave that to the new owner to fix whatever way they think is best. There is normal wear on the toy, nothing out of the ordinary for something of this vintage. Overall great shape, just a bit of dust here and there. I took the best pics I could.
