Limited Edition 1986 Washington Waterfowl Duck Stamp Print Medallion EditionAuthorized by the 1985 Washington Legislature, the Waterfowl Stamp and Print program was designed to generate funds for conservation and enhancement of Washington's Waterfowl resources through wetland acquisition and preservation. Sportsmen who hunted waterfowl in Washington were required to purchase the $5 stamp.This print and medallion set is especially valuable. The print is published on acid free paper using fade resistant inks. The medallion is 24 karat gold plated. The edition size was determined by the number of orders received as of July 31, 1986. This is number 1,701 of 1,775 produced. It is hand numbered and signed by the artist, Keith Warrick.Included in sale are, as pictured, the signed and numbered print, two original stamps, and the gold medallion. All items in perfect condition, have been framed and matted since purchased new.
