Up for auction is this gorgeous 1986 Worlds of Wonder Talking Mother Goose with 2 book and tape sets. She is the non head turning version. Please check my other auctions, as I have a head turning Mother Goose listed as well. I have restored and repaired these talkers for many, many years now and she too has been completely restored to great, clean, working condition!! Should you have a non working talking toy, contact me...I will also restore yours!She will gently blink her eyes and both her upper and lower beak animate in sync with her story tapes. Her eyes, beak, fur, feet, everything looks great. Her sound is clear, loud and crisp. Volume control knob works perfectly..no static noise. Tape eject button works perfectly as well. She will arrive with her original bonnet and her necktie, both are clean and crisp. She will bring with her, two of her book and tape sets. Titles are: Jack & the Beanstalk and Sleeping Beauty. The tapes have been tested and play well. The matching books are nice, clean, crisp, gently used books. No torn pages, no writing, no marks of any kind inside the book. The cover shows minimal wear. She is absolutely snow white! No yellowing anywhere on her...her eyes, battery box, tape player, fur. If it is supposed to be white, it is! Her battery box and cover are in pristine condition. Her battery box and hinged cover are all in pristine condition. No corrosion, no cracks.When 4 “C” batteries and her tape are installed, she will blink her eyes, and her upper and lower beak move in sync while telling her story, in a clear voice. No tape dragging, no skipping, no cutting off. She has great beak and eye movement, mesmerizing to watch, and just delightful. The mother goose in the video is the one you will receive.I do not know the original origin of all of my items, but all of these are completely and meticulously restored in a smoke free, but pet friendly environment. You won't find any odors or stains on any of my items, and hopefully, no loose pet hair will escape. I make every attempt to insure that no pet hair gets away.
