GRAB THIS ONE QUICK! before "buy it now" goes away Description: You are bidding on a 1987 100 Pounds Gold Proof coin from Egypt honoring the Golden Ram (KM#613 in the 2015 Standard Catalog of World Coins (mintage =7,500) value = $850 This coin is part of a coin series from Egypt that honors the history antiquities of Egypt. The Main design (reverse) shows a stylized image of the golden ram. The obverse has the date (1987) and denomination (100 pounds. The coin contains 17.15 grams of 90% gold (0.4962 troy ounces). This is a great coin, in the original sealed Franklin Mint "First day of minting" cachet (minted on December 14,1987). The cachet comes in the original Franklin Mint blue folder with a page describing the coin, an outer slipcover (the slipcover has 7245 written on it by a previous owner) . It also includes the original brochure and letter to the buyer. (see photos) I do not see any filming or spotting on either side, and the cachet is in great shape. I am starting bidding at $563 , which is below the spot price bullion value of this coin as of July 16. (gold at $1,145.60/oz), This item has a LOW "buy it now" price of $732 .
