Up for auction today from my Mother's estate of dolls & treasures is a darling set of Wizard of Oz dolls.Cowedly Lion, Scarecrow, Dorothy & Tin Man all with their own piece of the yellow brick road stand.Each stand 14" and Dorothy is 13" tall.Full authentic costumes. Three of 4 are tagged with hang tag. Marked "Exclusively Distributed by PRESENTS / Division of Hamilton Gifts / 1987 Turner Entertainment. All faces, hands, Dorothy's arms & legs are soft vinyl with amazing accurate features. Lion's hands are, of course, fur.I can't say enough on how well made costumes are and how real the faces look.Lion is all fur with full mane. He is wearing a badge of courage. His very detailed vinyl face is amazingly accurate and real looking. He has vinyl ears sticking out of mane fur. He looks like he could just start talking right to you. His arms, legs & body are stuffed.Scarecrow also has very real vinyl face with his shy side glance. Very cute and body is all stuffed. Hands & feet are also vinyl.Dorothy is dressed in her blue checked dress with blue socks and removable red vinyl shoes. Her hair in partial braids more of a ponytail.
