Please note: This engine has all its wheels. It looks crooked in the pictures because I am not the best photographer. I am listing this engine "as-is" because it does have issues. It is approx. 10" long, 6" tall. It takes 4 "C" batteries and it does work if you leave the battery compartment door slightly open. I tested it and it moved forward and backward by moving the yellow railing on the back of the train. The yellow button worked and the lights went on. If I shut the door entirely, nothing worked. The train is in good condition except for the back. It looks like someone took a knife or screwdriver to open the battery compartment. There are nicks and scratches and a tiny piece broken near the coal bed. From reading other listings it appears this whole issue with the battery compartment is a common problem. Please be aware of all these issues. When the door is in the right position, it worked ok. I have the track, etc. in another listing since it is in very good condition and I did not want to mix up the good with the not so good but I am happy to combine shipping. Payment is requested within 3 days of the end of the auction. My ebay account is set up so that after 4 days, ebay will automatically open an unpaid case so if you need additional time to pay, please contact me prior to the fourth day.
