Twenties' design roars on and on. Back in 1988,Hamilton Classic Editions proudly announced the registered edition of a true American masterpiece. The Art Deco. First created and named "Piping Rock" in 1927 by Hamilton, it was the epitome of the brash,roaring era in wich it was born.Elegant.Glamorous.Bold. It's artistry of design---a blend of daring form and practical function---makes it a kindred spirit to the Chrysler Building,the Cord roadster,Radio City Music Hall,and other art deco masterpieces that could only be born in America. Faithfully reproduced by the original ceator. In 1988,Hamilton has created a registered edition of these masterpieces---each one a truly faithful reproduction of the original,lovingly handcrafted and hand-assembled down to the most minute detail. And to ensure the utmost authenticity, each is made using tool and dies of classic design,carefully recast from the original wach. Observe the distinctive Roman numerals (see pics).
