Canada 1989 Sainte Marie 100 Dollars Gold Proof Coin In 1989 the Royal Canadian Mint unveiled the design for the $100 gold coin commemorating the 350th anniversary of Sainte-Marie among the Hurons. It was designed by Vancouver artist David Craig. The mintage was limited by law to 65,000 coins but the actual mintage was 59,675. This coin comes in the original mint display case encased in the usual plastic protector. Specifications: Metal: Gold Alloy Denomination: 100 Dollars Weight: 13.375 gm.
