This denim jacket was created by Guess/George Marciano, specially for Jon Peters, the Producer of the 1989 Tim Burton "Batman" movie, starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson.It has airbrushed images of Batman/Keaton and Joker/Nicholson with a backdrop of the lit skyline of Gotham City.To the best of my knowledge, this is "one-of-a-kind" jacket--I don't believe that another identical was ever created (if any fellow e-Bayer has knowledge contradicting this, I would be grateful for letting me know) . Tony Alamo created a somewhat similar, airbrushed denim jacket (one sells on the Internet for about $5,000) but the artwork is very different and not to be confused with this auctioned here.It was sold at a Charity event is the mid 1990s to a Collector, from whom I acquired it in 2003. The Collector explained to me that this jacket had be worn by Jon Peters but he never wore it/used it himself; I have no reason to doubt his statement (although, obviously, I cannot vouch 100% for it). What I can vouch 100% is that since I acquired it in 2003, it has been inside a suit-bag, hanging inside a closet, never worn/used since then.Condition: It is in Very Good Plus condition; I would have rated it as Excellent but I chose to be conservative in my grading; with this washed out denims it is hard to determine what is normal wear by use and what read more
