Andy Woollatt of Autobahn Magazine featured BMW E30 M3 Touring. As seen in Total BMW April 2003. A copy goes with the car. BMW E30 Touring 320i 1989 MOT'd 1year Can Tax (for additional cost) if required. 118,000 Miles Now fitted with 320i running gear. Andy took a damaged M3 and transplanted the full running gear into a 320i Touring. I bought the car a year ago for the purpose of removing the running gear to put into my 325i 2 door. The touring was far too good to scrap so I bought a 320i donor car and swapped all the running gear into it. The car is basically as per the magazine feature but now with a 320 engine/box/diff. The other parts that have been swapped are: An M-Tec 2 (rare) steering wheel - standard gear knob - Standard spec alloys - E30 BBS 14" with brand new nankang 195/65/14 tyres. Spare is also a 14" BBS alloy (part worn tyre). Standard speedo from donor car with running gear mileage of 118,000. The M3 mileage was 140,000. Original shell mileage not known. The photo in the magazine shows the speedo at 91,853 miles in April 2003. The suspension is as per the magazine which are standard front shocks with M-Tec front springs, rear alpina C2 springs with Bilstein gas dampers.
