This is a 1989 limited edition Endangered species stein which has been handcrafted for An aheuser Busch Inc. The eagle, shown in full face frontal and in flight is hand painted and in high relief circling the stein. The lid is encased in beaded pewter and the thumb hinge is impressed with a center flower and a scalloped leaf pattern rim. The eagle face is on the very center of the lid. If I can answer any other questions you may have I will be very happy to try. The tankard measures 7 " high and 3.5 " at the base. The handle is 4.5 " long. It is in perfect condition.
