Up for auction today is my much loved Mini which has been beautifully restored over the past 3 years. This 1990 Mini Racing Flame has undergone a major restoration over the years and is now ever so close to been back on the road where she deserves to be. The mini was bought in a bit of a rough state, a lot of rusty panels and in need of a lot of tender, love and care. The car was stripped down and the rusty panels cut out and removed, and the car was prepped for welding. All the new panels were fitted and welded into place and any other corrosion was cut out and fitted with new steel. We fitted completely new wings, front panel, door steps, sills, floor pans, hinge panels, flitch panels, rear valence, all of which were fitted with the required care and accuracy needed when fitting classic car body panels. We used original heritage panels when available and didn't cut corners like most car restorers do to keep the cost down. With all the welding done the full car was then prepped and primed and professionally resprayed in cherry red and white roof. The mini was fully under-sealed with wax oil and protected around the 'common rust traps' that mini's unfortunately have too many of!
