1990 GB Deluxe Proof SetA 1990 set of proof GB coins from the Royal Mint . There are eight coins in total from the £1 down to the penny , all are struck to a superior frosted proof FDC finish , the £1 coin shows a crowned leek , representing Wales .All housed inside the red leather case of issue , the case also doubles as a display frame .Proof coins are struck using higly polished dies & blanks , this gives a superb mirror like finish , far superior than normal coinage .
