This is an early Korean-made Squier Telecaster. Its 'S9' serial number indicates it was made in 1990 in the Samick factory. The maple necks on these Samick Squiers are really excellent - not too thin like many Korean Squiers and with a nicely-aged gloss finish and good quality 'Gotoh' type machine heads. This one also has the unusual 'top-loading' bridge arrangement found on some late 50s Teles. It is in pretty good conditon for its age - there is some wear and one small 'ding' on part of the top (as shown in the photos) but the neck is blemish-free and there is little fret wear. The metalwork is good but some of the screws are now tarnished and there is a little bit of 'crackle' on the volume pot. Can possibly deliver free in the Glos./Worcs. area
