Up for auction is a beautiful 1991 Hildegard Gunzel doll named Iris. World famous Hildegard Gunzel created her and she was manufactured by the Alexander Doll Company. She is 26", stuffed body, vinyl 1/2 limbs, socket head and is marked on the back of her neck. She is a Ltd Edition doll having been awarded by Doll Reader the Doty Award and comes in her original tagged dress, bloomers, stockings and black patent shoes. She has blue glass inset eyes w/real upper lashes, soft peach painted face w/dimpled chin, dirty blonde wavy hair in braid which originally had a white bow tied on the end but someone replaced it with a beaded band (see pic 5). A white ribbon is extremely easy to obtain. She is clean with no flaws, does not have a doll stand and comes with her original box, COA, 11 page collection booklet and poster (see pic 9). The box has very little shelf wear around edges of lid and is in remarkable condition. There is old tape at corners of inside box (see pic 7) to prevent splitting I suppose.
