1991 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Starship Enterprise: Mint in Box Back in 1991, I remember reading about these Star Trek 25th Anniversary commemorative ornaments on the "Star Trek e-mail list." They were selling out fast. I managed to find a Hallmark store that still had a few and bought one to hang on my own tree and a couple extras to put away--until now. Since I purchased this ornament in 1991, it's been stored wrapped in bubble wrap in a plastic bag in a box in a smoke free environment. The first time it was opened was 11/25/07 to check the condition of the contents, verify that the lights work (they do!), and take pictures for this auction. Included in this auction 1991 Starship Enterprise ornament from the original series--never removed from its plastic baggie. Box in very good condition . Corners and edges are crisp. A minor scuff on the front top edge in the red area (see picture). A small crease on the side bottom corner about 3/4 inch long (see picture). A couple teeny, tiny dents in one side which can only be seen on very close inspection and too small to photograph. Clear plastic tray . I was surprised to see some signs of scuffing on one side of the tray. I have to assume that it was like that when I bought it and occurred before it was originally packed.
