Welcome to Sugar Town, the sweetest place on earth! This exceptionally charming Precious Moments Village created by Sam Butcher, was inspired by a wonderful story his Mother shared with him from early childhood. Through his creative artistry, Sam has brought this heartwarming story, the story of his birth, family and friends to life with this quaint collectible, porcelain bisque village. The chapel is the first Sugar Town introduction in 1992 since it represents Sam's strong commitment to the Lord. This inspirational vignette includes charming figurines that portray important family members in Sam's life. The Preacher is Sam's Grandfather, the carollers are his Aunt Dorothy, Aunt Ruth and his Grandson Phillip. Sam portrays himself painting the Sugar Town population sign. A charming little Christmas tree, and nativity scene make up the final two figurines in the seven piece set. The chapel is lighted and the set includes the modular consumer displayer. All pieces are packed in the original boxes and packing. The Sugar Town Chapel was available for one year and was followed by various town scenes, one each year. Other sets included the post office, the hospital and Sam's house. This set is a "Must Have" for any collectors of Sam's Precious Moments figurines. Not many produced and are only available on the second hand market.....don't miss out!
